Choosing
Your Photographer
You should be very selective when it comes
to choosing your professional photographer. This is the
person who will record the special memories and events of
one of the most exciting days of your life. In order to
be well informed about the service and comparable cost,
here are some items to discuss & questions to ask each photographer
interviewed. Price is not the most important item. Look
for the quality and creativity.
• Do you have a website?
• What packages are available?
• How many proofs do I get?
• Who will own the proofs & negatives?
• How long will negatives be kept on file?
• Is an engagement and bridal setting offered?
• Will they give me a price list over the
phone?
• How soon should I look for a photographer?
• Does my photographer have back up equipment?
• Is there a back up system for a replacement
photographer, if nedded?
• How long will my photographer be at the
wedding?
• How much time do I need before the wedding
to have my photographs taken?
• What is my time frame for my engagement
& bridal setting?
• Is this photography studio a member of any
professional associations?
• Do they have liability insurance?
• Ask for referrals!
